An energetic and warm Szilvi met us on the platform at the train station and took us to Peter, our driver. While we did not spend as much time with Peter, the little time we did he was quite enjoyable. Szilvi is a dream guide. Her enthusiasm and warm personality draws you to her immediately. She is also a great photographer. She would offer, “this would make a beautiful photo, would you like me to take one?” Yes we would! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and by the end, we felt like we wanted to hug Szilvi goodbye, like a friend, we maintained proper decorum. :-) On the train ride back the four of us all commented on how refreshing Szilvi was. We know she has repeated the tour information many, many times, but it was presented in a fresh way. Boutique Journeys had developed an amazing team of drivers and tour guides! We had an amazing travel experience and would like to thank you Randie and Yana and your team!

Our trip to Croatia was wonderful! We’ve actually ranked among our Top 5 trips. The personalized tour approach was convenient, easy, and provided for a lot of individualized attention and information. The itinerary was perfect as it relates to minimal hotel hopping, comprehensive exploration of Croatia, and balanced touring and relaxing. At the end of the day we visited 5 UNESCO World Heritage sites, visited three parks, explored numerous islands, and fully explored the “old cities” of Dubrovnik, Split, Kotor (Montenegro), and Mostar (Bosnia). This history, geo-political background, and conflicts/wars exceedingly educational. The food/restaurants and people amazing. Tour company. Absolutely perfect!! As you will recall I had identified the sites we wanted to see and the days for Dubrovnik and Split and you worked with Boutique Journeys and determined all of the logistics; pickups, drop offs, schedule, site ticket coordination, boats/captains, etc. Flawless! All drivers/cars and boats/crew impeccable. The materials provided by Boutique Journeys superb; clear, detailed, and informative.

Every guide we had on this trip was excellent, but the guide in Berlin was exceptional. Great time and very informative.

Thank you so much for your work on our 30th anniversary trip. It was magical in many ways. Prague, Vienna and Salzburg were all wonderful. The amount of time in each was appropriate as well. My wife and I arrived back in the United States last night. I wanted to express my appreciation to each of you for your help and guidance in making our trip to Central Europe absolutely wonderful. The hotels you recommended were perfect - we especially enjoyed the Regent in Berlin and the Aria in Budapest, but the Kempinski in Vienna and the Aria in Prague were very nice as well. Our guides were in every instance first class - I have been with a lot of guides through the years, and I have never been with better ones. Every day was an adventure and a joy with these people. The trip was well laid out, and the transportation services were also outstanding.

Dear Susan, Thank you so much for helping us coordinate our trip. It was an amazing experience, difficult to convey in words. What made it so special were the two guides you led us to: Esther and Peter. They were both EXCEPTIONAL! They each went the extra mile (literally and figuratively) to help us find the missing pieces to our puzzles. They were both warm and easy to learn with, helping to make what could have been an emotionally laden trip, easier to experience. They were both with us 100% in what we were trying to accomplish. And we did find missing pieces! In addition, our accommodations were excellent. Again, many, many thanks. The cancelled flight actually led to a wonderful conclusion to our journey: our daughter and son-in-law were in London, and we took a cab into the city to have dinner with them. So there we were with our child, the grandchild of Rich’s father, a survivor of the Holocaust - a period of personal history that was brought to life in a way we could never have imagined. Dear All, I can’t believe that it is almost a week since we returned from our fabulous vacation. Thank you for making this happen. Everything was “top notch”: the transfers, drivers, walking tours, and hotels. The highlight was Dubrovnik (the city, hotel, and boat excursion), so much so that my husband would like us to go back next year. We also had a great time at the wedding with 500 people and partying until 5AM; well not us but mostly the young guests. We’ve never done an entire trip with a ground operator but now I can see that this is the way to go. It was a real vacation with nothing to worry or think about except for having a good time.
